Teaching
Dr. Seino teaches courses on robotics, mechanical design, control systems, programming, and related topics.
Lecture
Mechanism
Students will learn methods for analyzing and modeling the motion of mechanisms—such as linkages and gears—that make up machines.
Robot System I
Students will systematically study robotics—with a focus on manipulators—including kinematics, dynamics, and control.
Robot System II
Students will learn about the latest research trends by reading the most recent papers on robotics, summarizing their content, and presenting and discussing them.
Practicum
CAD and CAM Training
Through technical drawing—an essential part of mechanical design—students will learn how to read drawings and how to use CAD (Computer-Aided Design), a computer-based design and drafting method. In addition, students will gain hands-on experience through machine shop practical training—using lathes, milling machines, and other equipment—to see how the parts they designed in their drawings are actually manufactured.

Problem-Based Learning Seminar II
Students will work together on projects assigned by each lab.
