For Undergraduate Students
In the Faculty of Symbiotic Systems Science at Fukushima University, students submit their preferences for graduation research assignments after visiting laboratories during the fifth semester (third year). Students who wish to conduct their graduation research in the RMSI Laboratory (Seino Lab.) should list our laboratory as their first choice.
However, since the number of available positions is limited, if the number of first-choice applicants exceeds the capacity, students will be assigned based on their GPA from the first to the fifth semester, with priority given to students with higher GPAs. Students who wish to join our laboratory are therefore encouraged to work consistently in their regular coursework.
First- and second-year students who are interested in learning more about our lab are welcome to contact us anytime!
For Graduate Students
We welcome applications from students both within Fukushima University and from other universities and Kosen. If you are interested in conducting research in our laboratory, please feel free to contact Prof. Seino to discuss your research interests before applying to the graduate program.
For International Students
We may consider accepting international research students and graduate students on a case-by-case basis, depending on the fit between their research interests and the research activities of our laboratory.
However, our RMSI Lab was newly established in 2026 and is currently in the process of developing its research and educational environment.
Therefore, we are not actively recruiting international students at this time.
We plan to consider applications in the future once the laboratory has established a sufficient supervision and research support system.

Our laboratory actively engages in collaborative research with industry. Please see our research seeds on this web page . Companies interested in applying robotics technologies to practical problems or exploring new robot technologies are welcome to contact us by email. You may also contact us through the Industry-Academia Collaboration Office at Fukushima University (Japanese only).
